1. You night have already done this, but here’s a suggestion. ING Direct has been running a promotion where they give you $25, if you open a savings account. So, take $1 from that check and open an account. After about a month, you’ll have another $25. You will have more than doubled your $13.86 windfall.

2. Buy 2/3 of a CD? Personally I will spend that money on iTunes downloads.
